Board President

April (She/Her) is the Co-Founder and a current team member of Cos4Hope, and also the founder of Hope's Side Quest, where 80% of life coaching fees are donated directly to Cos4Hope. She is a PhD candidate in Developmental Psychology, a certified life coach with 20 specializations, and has an extensive background in criminal justice, victim advocacy, and nonprofit leadership. April is a dedicated mother of four and a proud fan of fandoms like Buffy, Supernatural, TMNT, and Power Rangers. 

Megan

Board Vice-President 

Megan (She/Her) serves as Vice President of Cos4Hope. She works at the University of Central Missouri Public Safety Department as an Office Professional II and brings over a decade of experience in mental health advocacy. Megan is a dedicated mother of three and an active volunteer with the Johnson County (JOCO) Youth Prevention Coalition. She is committed to expanding accessible mental health resources throughout rural Missouri and uplifting young voices in community prevention work.

Casey

Board Secretary

Casey (He/Him) is the Secretary of the Board and a U.S. Army Combat Veteran who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Casey currently works in warehouse logistics at Walmart, where he specializes in operations and event setup. A proud father of four, Casey is passionate about serving his community and brings a strong logistical and service-oriented perspective to Cos4Hope’s outreach and event planning.

Board Member

Kenneth (He/Him) is a Board Member with personal experience as a suicide survivor and mental health advocate. He brings prior experience as a Treasurer for a local theater group and plays an active role in organizing inclusive and supportive community events. With a background in tech, Kenneth focuses on ensuring safe convention environments while advocating for increased mental health awareness in fandom spaces.

Jennifer (She/Her) is a Board Member who brings valuable lived experience with grief and resilience to Cos4Hope. She is an engaged volunteer who supports Cos4Hope through events, programming, and relationship building. Jennifer is passionate about helping others find community and healing through fandom, and is especially interested in supporting family-focused outreach.

Gilgamesh

Board Member

Gilgamesh (He/Him) is a dedicated Cos4Hope Board Member known for his creative insight, strong community values, and unique blend of humor and compassion. Deeply immersed in geek culture, Gilgamesh brings lived experience, event planning support, and a passion for safe, inclusive spaces to the organization. He has supported Cos4Hope through convention panels, outreach, and behind-the-scenes logistics. With a heart for advocacy and a flair for storytelling, Gilgamesh helps bridge connections between fandom and mental wellness in a way that resonates with people of all backgrounds.
